Climate Control Description - AMG-22

The climate control system changes modes based on the House Mode:
either “Away” or “Home”.

The ‘Home’ mode can be adjusted through the Control(4, app or by pressing a button in the technical room near the office.

When in Home Mode:

  • All climate controls are set to “Comfort”.
  • Fan speeds adjust to either daytime or nighttime comfort levels for home.
    • Daytime (from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm) has a maximum fan speed of 60%.
    • Nighttime (from 9:30 pm to 8:30 am) has a maximum speed of 20%.

When in Away Mode:

  • All climate controls are set to “Standby”.
  • Fan speeds adjust to the “Away” level with a maximum speed of 100%.
  • Switching from “Comfort” to “Standby” will reduce heating by 2°C and increase cooling by 2°C.
  • Switching from “Standby” to “Comfort” will increase heating by 2°C and decrease cooling by 2°C.

Note: If a room’s fan speed is turned off, it won’t adjust until a different speed is selected.
Should you wish to change the maximum fan speeds, please inform us. It’s possible to have different values for each room.

For each room where temperature control is available, you can access its climate settings. You’ll find the room’s name at the top. Depending on whether the room measures humidity, there will be 2 or 3 tabs to choose from: Temperature, Humidity, and Extras.

Temperature Tab:

  • Two icons at the top show outside temperature and humidity. These values come from the Control(4) weather service and reflect the local area, not the exact location.
  • Below, there’s a circle showing the room’s current temperature. The outer ring of the circle displays the target temperature for the room.
  • At the bottom, you can see or choose a mode:
    • Comfort: For regular daytime use.
    • Standby: When you’re not home.
    • Night: For nighttime when you’re home.
    • Protection: Sets the temperature to 17°C.

Rooms with fan coils will show an “Auto” next to each mode, indicating that the room will either heat up or cool down automatically based on the set target temperature.

Humidity Tab:

  • Displays icons for outdoor temperature and humidity.
  • A circle shows the room’s current humidity level.

Extras Tab:

  • Provides the status of climate control devices in the room, like radiators, floor heating, and fan coils.
  • Shows how open the radiator and floor heating valves are and whether the fan coil valves for heating and cooling are open or closed.

If you wish to adjust the maximum fan speeds or require additional features, please inform us.
